How to enable Voice typing on Oppo?
To enable Voice typing on your Oppo device, follow these steps:
- Open any app and tap a section where you can input text.
- Tap and hold the comma at the bottom left of the keyboard, then drag your finger onto the Settings cog when it appears.
- Tap Voice typing.
- Tap the Use voice typing toggle.
However, you might encounter a "No permission to enable: Voice typing" error. To fix this, you need to grant microphone access to the Gboard app (or your default keyboard app). Here's how:
- Go to Settings > Apps > See all apps > Gboard.
- Tap Permissions.
- Tap Microphone.
- Select the Allow only while using the app option.
Alternatively, you can also try the following:
- Open Settings.
- Look for Language & input. Usually, you can locate it in System.
- Select Gboard (or your default keyboard app).
- Enable Voice typing.
If you're still facing issues, you might want to check if your microphone is working properly. There are a few ways to fix your Android microphone if it's not working.
